Amazing turnings

Hey, I came across an incredible site for turning.
I am so inspired by the work shown.

Getting there

I started making the moulding for the bathroom cabinet this afternoon. It's coming along. Here is an image of the cabinet as it sits today.

Don't be dumb

In the process of making the cabinet for my wife, I needed to re-saw a piece to make the bottoms of two drawers. I set the saw up and made the cut. Well it came out not so good. I made another one, same result. I started to get mad and then I looked closer at the blade, I think you know what is coming, the table was just a nudge off 90 to the blade. I fixed that and made another cut and yep, that did it. Tonight I have two drawer bottoms.

Point is, don't get mad. There is usually a fix to the problem, just find it and fix it.

Turning

I've been a fan of lathe turning for most of my life. I'm not that good at it but that's why we practice. Here are some small pieces I turned last week just for fun.
